I'm afraid that all the VM snapshot that I do automaticaly will have the same problem.

Note: I do not have this problem when I make a manual backup

what can be the problem?

thank you for helping me

Best regards,

Seems the lzop file is corrupt. Can you manually uncompress the file?
# lzop -d /storage/Hyp15/dump/vzdump-qemu-105-2014_09_28-02_00_02.vma.lzo

Hi Dietmar,

Thanks for your reply.

this is the result of the manually uncompress:
Code:
 lzop -d vzdump-qemu-105-[B]2014_10_05[/B]-02_00_02.vma.lzo
lzop: vzdump-qemu-105-2014_10_05-02_00_02.vma.lzo: not a lzop file

Code:
lzop -d /storage/Hyp15/dump/vzdump-qemu-105-[B]2014_09_28[/B]-02_00_02.vma.lzo
lzop: /storage/Hyp15/dump/vzdump-qemu-105-2014_09_28-02_00_02.vma.lzo: Compressed data violation

Note: knowing that the two files are automatically generated and have the same size!

I didn't understand where it may be the problem :(

Best regards,
Youmarva

Most likely there is a problem with your storage /storage/Hyp15/. What kind of storage is that?

It's a mounted disk done with Openfiler (Open Source Storage Managment Appliance) set in line with the iscsi Service.

Hi Dietmar,

it can be the file storage as you told but it is strange that the backup file is the same size and no errors during backup.

This error does not occur on every backup.

Do you think the error is due to file sharing by creating openfiler?

Best resgards,
youmarva
