First timer here.

I am trying to install Proxmox VE 7.2 on bare-metal Amax server ServMax 2U AMD server from UEFI shell.
Nic = intel x710-DA4 for OCP 3.0

" No network interface found"

I have done the NVMupdate tool for OS EFI
" No device found"

Does any one know should proxmox have the required drivers for the NIC or has any one came accross something like this ?

Aaron

the intel x710 cards are supported with the i40e driver in the linux kernel (which has been there since at least 2017 afair) - so the nic itself should be supported.

sadly don't know the other components

I hope this helps!

No that's doesn't work for me after installing PVE Kernel my firmware-iwlwifi conflicting with pve-firmware so the firmware-iwlwifi is removed after installing both and it did kill my wifi so not making differences

b) the current Debian release is Bookworm by now (and the corresponding PVE version is 8):

c) the files in firmware-iwlwifi should be shipped by pve-firmware - so in general this should not be the actual issue you're seeing

I hope this helps!

Yes i tried it on Debian Bookworm as i said my wifi is dead after installing PVE Kernel and firmware provided by pve-firmware doesn't seem to support my Wifi card (Intel Wireless AC 9461)... Maybe after this i will try to open new Thread
