Hello,

I have been doing some testing and converting a physical windows server with Disk2VHD and importing it to Proxmox which works greats but the disk only works on IDE Bus even when the virtio drivers are installed

Is there a way to make the guest os work on SCSI or Virtio Block as i have noticed that the I/O is much better on them.

This is the procedure that has worked for me in 99% of cases:
- Power off the VM. Add a secondary disk as SCSI connected to your VirtIO SCSI Single controller and boot the VM.
- Windows will detect it. Open device manager, put that disk online and initialize it.
- Power off the VM. Remove the secondary disk and delete it.
- Detach your "C" drive and attach it to the VirtIO SCSI Controller. Windows should be able to boot from it.
