Martin just added a new HowTo:

http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Tape_Drives

Especially the iSCSI tape drive inside windows is quite useful if you need a small business solution with no extra backup server.
Just think of running a MS Small Business Server as KVM guest.

Hi

Thats near to perfect to that what I need.

How about SAN-Tape-Drives ??

Is it also possible so zone them to the master and export them to the guest?

Regards

Christian

No. The drives will be attached via a multipath-driver from the SAN into Linux.
They will be under control of the device-mapper. That is not iSCSI as far as I know,
but it would looks like a SCSI-Device from the Linux-side.

So....just simple configure it as described in the HOWTO ??

Regards

Christian
