How to use Docker containers in Proxmox?

Can someone please explain how to use Docker containers in Proxmox? And what things should I need to keep in mind while using Docker containers in Proxmox?

Best way to use Docker on Proxmox VE is to set up a separate VM and install/run Docker containers on there as on any other machine. Installing Docker on the Proxmox VE host is highly discouraged (it interferes with some mechanisms on which we rely). While there are some reports that it can work, we also highly discourage users from installing Docker inside a container.
