How to upgrade from pve 3.4 to 4.0

Is it possible to upgrade from PVE 3.4 to 4.0 and is any risk to do that and do you prefer to upgrade in 4.0 even if we are not using HA and IPV6.

We are using Proxmox since year 2013 and we are very happy with it...so stable compared to other virtualization systems.
