Seems like making a straight copy of a virtual machine should be easy with Proxmox, but so far I have not been able to figure out how to do it. I check the wiki page on duplicating virtual machines, which states at the top:

This page is meant for Kernel Virtual Machines (KVM) only. For OpenVZ containers, the /etc/vz/conf/<VEID>.conf files contain the info and is preferably set using the Proxmox VE GUI.

Not sure exactly what they mean by that?
