Hi I am looking to purchase a 2nd hand mini pc for installing proxmox.
Once installed I would be looking to run a couple of vms
Debian/FHEM for heating Max! Heating control and not much else.
HomeAssistant with secure access to view home cctv and poe doorbell with notifications sent via it.
That's about it but a little overhead would be good for expansion if need later.
What sort of CPU, RAM and SSD should I be looking for.
Also I have seen older xeon processors that seem to have loads of cores for £20 ish. Is that something to look at?
