Hello all,

I have done lots of research on this forum and the wiki and found things about lvresize and lvextend. I attempted to expand the disk, but got an error (I can't remember what it was) and immediately un-did the resize (thankfully without losing data).

How can I resize this disk to add an additional 30 GB?

I have attached pictures to show the state of my local-lvm.

Thanks in advance

Hello @larkwiot and welcome to proxmox :) :) :)

If would resize your virtual disk (local-lvm) you have only click the button "resize disk" on your screenshot, set in 30GB and click ok. After that you have to expand the disk in your vm with a few of clicks. This is what is descried when you click on the help-button on your proxmox interface. Or did you mean something else?

Oh my word... I never noticed that or somehow thought it didn't work. Thank you, problem solved.
