Error: 500 Can't connect to 127.0.0.1:50000 (Connect: Connection refused)

Slave server locked up and I powered it off and now I have this problem.
Would someone clue me in on how to fix it?

I've searched and read some threads in the forum.
Maybe the publckey password and or ssl certs are corrupt.

Make sure you can login from slave to master without using passwords (ssh-copy-id).

dietmar - thanks for the ssh-copy-id command hint. I followed the instructions on this link and it seems to have worked.
