DRBD + Directory Storage + LiveMigration - is it possible?

Hello everybody,

Wiki describes usage DRBD with LVM Storage type. Is it possible to use Directory type in with DRBD? If yes is it possible to use live migration with it?

Hi,
normaly not - because with mounted directory you need simultanous access from both nodes (best way for corrupt data). It can work with a cluster-filesystem...

yes, a cluster file system may help here. but keep in mind, running a cluster file system (like OCFS2) increases the complexity of the whole setup and we do not recommend this for storing VM´s.
