Hi,

it would be nice, to have a simple dns config on the proxmox host.

for example add all hostnames configured in the webinterface in the /etc/hosts file and then use a service like dnsmasq.

now it would be simple to use the proxmox server as a subdomain dns manager.

for instance, node1.proxmox.com
node2.proxmox.com

it would also be nice to have a well-arranged info page of all used IPs and dns hostnames, because now i have to write it all down to an external wiki.

my 2 cents

And how do I know all used IPs? We have a bridged network model so it is impossible to know what IPs are used by guest?
