I have a Dell MD38xxi SAN which is being used by a cluster of 3 proxmox servers to share storage & provide luns direct to some VM's.
Had a few problems recently when adding a fourth proxmox host, so had to completely re-examine my SAN configuration in order to get things fixed.
All working now, but does anyone know what the Dell vendor specific settings should be?
I followed https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/ISCSI_Multipath but in the 'Dell' section it mentions the need to modify /etc/modules and load scsi_dh_rdac which i did, but it then shows some kind of example multipath.conf configuration but doesnt clearly say where this should go if anywhere?
Is this a typo?
The page then mentions configuring a suitable filter in /etc/lvn/lvmn.conf to avoid error messages, but I dont have any error messages?
There are some further instructions and a link to http://www.dell.com/downloads/globa...t-md32x0-md32x0i-linux-dm-installation-en.pdf But i've not followed any of this.
So anyone know if its ok just to add the kernel module, or am I still in trouble?
