Hi all
I'ld like to setup a vdr in a LXContainer. I'm using the Debian 8 template.
After the usual 'apt-get update/upgrade', which passed through, I've added the 'e-tobi' repo to my sources.list.
e-tobi is the Debian maintainer ( for more than a decade ) of the vdr packages and it's plugins and some other stuff, offering fresher and patched packages from his private repository as you can find in Debian stable. I'm mention this because I'm quite sure there will be no misconfiguration from this end ( ya, never say never ).
I've deployed a couple of other Debian based containers in the past and haven't had any probs so far with it.
OK,what I get now when I try to update/upgrade is:
Edit: sorry, had to remove log file output due to restricted permissions of posting web links.
Please look at the attached log file.
This error occures only inside a container, not on bare metall installation nor in a KVM virt. machine, and this is what it makes quite weird.
I've made apt a little bit more verbose and initiated another 'apt-get update'. The output is quite detailed but unfortunatly I'm unable to figure out myself what really is going wrong.
Please have a look to the attached log file.
BTW. this behavoir has been confirmed on the vdr-portal forum by another user.
Any hint will be much appreciated
with regards
Tom
