few questions

Is it possible to make a copy of a VE for later use? Is it also possible to copy this VE to a external harddisk?

another question. When I try to make a backup and want to save the backup task I get a error. Directory does not exists. How do I make this directory (yes I'am Linux newbie, but I like linux:D)?

just make a backup (with vzdump) using the gui.

the default backup destination is /backup. this dir does not exists as we think you should understand what you do before you start a backup.

if you want to use /backup you need to create it first, but make sure you have enough space on the disk.

go to the console and enter:

Code:
mkdir /backup

Thanks Tom for your reply. I know I have a lot to learn about linux.., but this is a great distrobution.
