Hello.

I'm new to proxmox and I'm trying to configure a High Availability Cluster with two nodes.

I have some VMs in one of the servers (node 1), and, in case it gets down, I wanted them to continue operating in node 2 without losing information.
Currently, I am using an external vote to achieve the necessary quorum, but when disconnecting node 1, the system takes 3 minutes to transfer the VM to node 2 and boots it.

Is there any way to configure the cluster so the VM doesn't stop running or to guarantee no data loss in this transition?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, @gurubert .

I understand that. But that way, how can I ensure no data losses?
My main goal was to have a copy of the VM on node2 that would immediately start working as a master once node 1 went offline.
