on a brand new ceph cluster:

- created osd using gui. from task status: 'create OSD on /dev/sda (bluestore)' [ note it took a couple of minutes , not sure if that is normal. 2nd osd create - the osd does get created on system fast, however the 'Task: Ceph OSD sdb create' stays on screen until i clickon 'details' ]

Code:
/dev/sda1 xfs 94M 5.5M 89M 6% /var/lib/ceph/osd/ceph-0
My question: from cli the file system type = 'xfs' . Is that normal for a bluestore osd?

Tom thank you . that is a good link. [I had read that a couple of weeks ago.]

so on reread i noticed they do not use the -T flag for df .

Also - I know you all are busy working on the next ceph/pve release. and that it may come out this week.

I'll wait for that before completing our ceph set up, then do more testing.
