Cannot list openvz details in web interface

Hi,

When I try to select any openvz VM from the virtual machines list I get the following error. How do I fix this please?

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, root and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

Hi,

I believe I'm running the latest version. Here is the output form pveversion -v

pve-manager: 1.4-10 (pve-manager/1.4/4403)
qemu-server: 1.1-8
pve-kernel: 2.6.24-18
pve-qemu-kvm: 0.11.0-2
pve-firmware: 1
vncterm: 0.9-2
vzctl: 3.0.23-1pve3
vzdump: 1.2-5
vzprocps: 2.0.11-1dso2
vzquota: 3.0.11-1

This has been working OK for more than a week since I upgraded from the 1.3 version.

Seem you have an incompatible configuration file somewhere - you moved a configuration from OpenVZ/Virtuozzo to PVE?

Re: Cannot list openvz details in web interface

Hi,

All the VPSs being run on the host node were either created in the interface or were imported more than 6 months ago using vzdump from a HyperVM host node.

This was working fine until at least last night. It was only from this morning that I now have this problem so I cannot understand what it is and how to fix it.

Perhaps the syslog error is not critical so isn't the real problem.

I did a search on google and got this posting back on openvz.org which seems to suggest error is related to pve

Well, we do not write "Copyright (C) 2000-2006 SWsoft" into our config files! If you send me the content of /etc/vz/conf/ i can try to debug it (send directly to dietmar@proxmox.com)

Hi,

I really appreciate your help with this. I will zip the files as requested and send to the address you've given.

A quick lock reveals that you have several strange config files:

0.conf
1300.conf

Please remove them and test again.

Hi,

I removed those files and tested again but the error is still the same.

In addition I tried to removed all files from the folder accept for the 1000.conf and the ve-pve.auto.conf-sample but the error is still the same

When I sellect the vps ID 1000 in the proxmox web interface under virtual machines it takes me to this url and displays the error https://xx.xx.xxx.xx/openvz/0-1000/index.htm

The same happens with every openvz VM but if the select a KVM VM then information is correctly displayed

Hey, please can you take a closer look at your config files yourself - 1000.conf contains nonsense at the first line

Code:
4# Copyright (C) 2000-2006 SWsoft. All rights reserved.

That is simply a syntax error.

Hi,

Great that seems to have fixed the issue.

I don't know how the 4 digit got added to the file but after removing it everything seems to be back to normal.

Thanks you very much for your time and efforts in fixing this. Well done.
