Can no longer login using YubiKey (Changed nothing)

I could login just fine yesterday and no upgrades have been made since then.

I get this in the log:

authentication failure; rhost=94.XXX.73.182 user=root@pam msg=yubico auth failed: BAD_OTP

How can i troubleshoot this?

(I'm of course using the original Yubikey)

EDIT: Now it suddenly worked again!

this can happend if you clocks are not syncron
