Hey guys, i am really new i'll try my best to make myself clear, cause i got some question..
My goals are :
I want ARR stack automation with Radarr, Sonarr, Jackett etc.. and a downloader ofc.
I want to make a Plex server
I want a pool in raidz1
I want storage for my important files that i could share with a friend, but that means we're not on LAN and so i don't really know how to make it work for him
I want a vpn to run on my downloader
Question : I saw that TrueNAS was a good way to do ZFS. But i can't think about how can i have a zpool in TrueNAS, and having my ARR automation in proxmox... Is there something i'm missing ? I mean, when i'll be downloading stuff in the downloader in Proxmox's LXC, how would i be able to directly download it INTO my storage that is on TrueNAS ? Should i consider not using TrueNAS and go with only proxmox?
Do i just install APP (Sonarr, radarr, jackett, qbit... ) on TrueNAS ? But then i was planning to do a OpenWRT to have a vpn running for my downloader, how will i be able to run a vpn on truenas ? I'm f lost
