Add additional Server to existing Proxmox-Cluster

Hi All,

we need to extend one of our 10 Node Proxmoxcluster with 1 additional Server.
It is possible to do that if the Cluster and the VM's are running -> without downtime?

Yes for sure, it's possible.

Install the same version of Proxmox you have on the other 10 nodes (best would be latest version), be sure to use an hostname which is unique in your cluster, then execute from the node you wish to add the following command:

pvecm add <IP from a node IN the cluster>

And follow its directions.
After that you should see the new node added in the webinterface.
