Unable to copy ssh ID

Followed all the instructions from the Wiki. However when adding a node to the cluster I run into the following error..

pvecm add 192.168.0.1

And 192.168.0.1 is the address of the other cluster node?

Yes.. It's the ip of the first node in the cluster..

Hello, I've found part of the problem.


If I use the shell console in PVE, I got the message. If I use a real ssh connexion to the node, it work.


Seems still some problem.

Hi,

I just have the same issue, It was that one of the host in the cluster didn't have enabled the CMan, you could start it via the web interface, check in each host of the cluster that is active, select the host, after select the service tab and verify if CMan is running. If not running, select CMan and click "Start".

Hi,

Make sure CMan is running in the others machines in the cluster, I just had the same problem, after start CMan and make the "pvecm add XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX" command the node was added to the clouster.

In the case of a cluster, you may have locked your cluster with a bad quorum configuration, resulting with a "read-only" authorized_key in /etc/pve/priv/ !

In command line :
# pvecm expected 1

Your file should be available again in rw mode.

I tried to make friends v4.3 and v5.0, but I got the same error. I was helped by the port of sshd change to default (22).
