Hello Dave
To clarify: the debian-13-standard template uses isc-dhcp-client (dhclient) by default, not udhcpc. The reason I suggested testing with this template is that Proxmox VE also uses isc-dhcp-client for host-managed interfaces. So this...
Hi thanks for your reply!
I did replace the powersupply as a test, unfortunately this wasn't the issue as problems remained.
Then I updated the bios which included the agesa.
Unfortunately that also didn't solve it.
Disabling the C-states dit...

or your hardware degraded after several years of use.
dont dismiss hardware issues.
if c-states were generally a problem on ryzen cpus you would see a lot more threads about similar issues.
it might be a combination of kernel, hardware and...
I have this problem. I set up a test version of Stalwart a few weeks ago on both Windows and Linux and I not sure it's quite ready for prime time. In the meantime I also come across this the other day which I think sounds quite promising...
Hi Chris,
the CPU load during backups averages 70% on the first PBS (the logs I've attached), while on the second (much more powerful hardware) it rarely reaches 50%. Both PBSs have internal ZFS pools with read-only SSD caches.
No tasks other...
Hi,
I'm not sure @harethl1s submitted a feature request. At least no link was posted here. Please check if they did and otherwise, feel free to do so yourself: https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/ Forum posts will quickly be lost to time and are not...
Yes, thank you for this! Having clear reproducer steps and the issue filed stand-alone goes a long way. Like this, it's clear that it's not related to the other issue. And other developers that don't stumble upon it by chance in the forum will be...
Thanks for the feedback. I meant what I said in the video RE "1000 and 1 context switches this year". It is at just about the tippy top of my to-do list at this point, and we're actively working on it. The qemu side is easy, the KVM side is more...
If memory integrity / HVCI is getting enabled, performance is going to be very bad with the current state-of-the-state. See my KVM Forum presentation on the topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MooRtyPkxXc
If anyone on the kernel developer...
Ok finally fixed the freezing, I completely disabled the Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) so CPU is fixed to 3600Mhz.
Now everything is stable for a while now.
So it seems something is broken in later kernel updates?
nice find! once the fix has finalized, I will see about getting it included in Trixie (next point release is in January, so still a bit of time for the dust to settle ;))
Hi @vmwaretoprox ,
it would be nice if you or @drmartins could provide the trace output (with the fixed command using tail). I don't have a storage where I can reproduce the issue, so I can only guess in the dark without that information.
