The wiki states
It is not possible to use ZFS as rpool(root partition) with UEFI boot.
But I could not find any information on the reason of this limitation. Could anyone please explain, where does it come from?

ZFS people neglect the need of a boot partition, so all ZFS commands use full disks and leave no space for boot partitions.
Fortunately, grub boot partition is small enough to fit into unused space at start, but there is no space for EFI boot.

Another problem is installation of EFI boot on multiple disk (RAID). Current debian does not support mounting/updating multiple EFI boot disk.

Not to mention the incredible waste of disk space (EFI partitions needs to be >100MB for some unknown reason).
