Hi,

i installed a windows 10 vm with drivers inside:
-viostore
-vioserial
-netkvm
-balloon
-qxldod

After that i installed qemu agent and spice virt-manager.

I give the vm 2 cpu cores and 4g memory.

The performance of the vm is ok, but inside the vm, windows shows memory usage 1,5gb and proxmox shows 3gb. I did not understand the difference. Is there some tuning options to get the right memory info on proxmox?

Thanks, this was the solution for problem.

Is there any other tip / best practise on my setup?

Not needed, but nice things are:
  • Change some local GPO's for Energymanagement,
  • disable STRG+ALT+ENF
  • disable Desktop Animations globaly in GPO
  • enable "Remove status messages about restart, shutdown, logon and logoff"
  • disable "Show shutdown event log"
