I have a virtualiced Windows 10, from the last update od windows the system use 100% or more of cpu and the system is unusable.
I read about this, recommende change this:
timer name='hpet' present='yes'
but... where i change this? what is the file to edit in proxmox? can be this file?: ( etc/pve/qemu-server/300.conf )
Thanks!

Have you done all updates on windows 10 ? If I remember, they was a regression in 1809, but it has been fixed by microsoft later.

Also, proxmox has made a fix since qemu 3.0 , implementing hyper-v stimer, so you should upgrade your proxmox5 too to last version.

Thanks a lot! it works!
I made a regression to old version of win10 but the problem persist.
The solution was install proxmox 6 and win10 to old version.
I hope there are no problems when windows is updated again
Thanks Again, good forum!
