Will the built in Proxmox GUI snapshot utility work on btrfs?

    I am considering using btrfs on the ssd that I will use for my next Proxmox installation. I'm wondering if vm snapshots will work with this filesystem.

    No, because we currently do not have an extra driver for btrfs.

    Thanks for the feedback. It sounds like the default ext+LVM is still the better option

    Just to note, default is LVM-thin. If you want advanced features and you have the right hardware, go for ZFS.

    A follow up question, does the Proxmox GUI snapshot feature work with ZFS?
