Hi All,
Good afternoon.
I have ProxMox 6.3-3 .
I have successfully created Linux machines and was able to install Linux
But for Windows machines which have been created, the windows OS installation steps is not able to detect the hard disk allocated
I am posting the result of
qm config

qm config 105 perl: warning: Setting locale failed. perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings: LANGUAGE = (unset), LC_ALL = (unset), LC_ADDRESS = "en_GB.UTF-8", LC_NAME = "en_GB.UTF-8", LC_MONETARY = "en_GB.UTF-8", LC_PAPER = "en_GB.UTF-8", LC_IDENTIFICATION = "en_GB.UTF-8", LC_TELEPHONE = "en_GB.UTF-8", LC_MEASUREMENT = "en_GB.UTF-8", LC_TIME = "en_GB.UTF-8", LC_NUMERIC = "en_GB.UTF-8", LANG = "en_US.UTF-8" are supported and installed on your system. perl: warning: Falling back to a fallback locale ("en_US.UTF-8"). boot: order=scsi0;ide2;net0 cores: 3 efidisk0: pools:vm-105-disk-0,size=1M ide2: local:iso/Win10_20H2_v2_English_x64.iso,media=cdrom,size=6076022K memory: 17048 name: Windows-Rufaidah net0: virtio=B2:7F:A7:C7:84:27,bridge=vmbr0,firewall=1 numa: 0 ostype: win10 scsi0: local-lvm:vm-105-disk-0,size=100G scsihw: virtio-scsi-single smbios1: uuid=4405dde7-c07b-4f45-8719-c6ca937f9f46 sockets: 3 vmgenid: 11b0ba6c-0d57-4e84-a956-227ac4976172

I have checked the old posts, in one post the user had issues because of corrupt ISO, here I crosschecked if my ISO is corrupt or not. it is not corrupt.

Request advice and guidance on how to make the installation steps detect the hard disk allocated ( like to add same instance Linux discovers the disk and goes ahead with installation, only with Windows we are facing this issue)

Install virtio drivers or choose ide disk type during installation.
After installation of OS install virtio drivers and switch disk type back to SCSI or virtio

I tried with IDE option instead of SCSI and it is now showing while installing windows
So is it Windows installation on proxmox does not got well with SCSI or is there problem in my server.
Will explore it by installing in some other instance and checking it
