Which is better a RAID 5 (raidz-1) or Raid1 and one of the disks use as cache?

Hi, I have 3 SSDs 512 gigas, Samsung PM871a.

Which is better a RAID 5 (raidz-1) or Raid1 and one of the disks use as cache (ZFS)?

raid-z1 is better, because you do not gain any performance by using the same disk as cache as you use in your storage.

You cannot do RAID-1 with 3 drives (and have more than the space of one drive), so there is no choice.
