What are the best "Storage" options for me?

I can see the options "Directory, LVM Group, NFS Share, and iSCSI target". I've read and re-read the differences between these, but I don't understand which would be the best for me. I am planning on using the following operating systems installed as virtual machines:

Linux (used as asterisk PBX)
Windows Server 2008
Windows XP

Should I just leave the default storage which is setup as a Directory type and all the hard drive space allocated to it? Or would there be better options? Any help would be appreciated!

Nobody can give me any ideas on what they are using for their configuration?

No one can tell whats your preferred technologies is. Each one have advantages and disadvantages. So as long as you do not tell more detailed what you plan to do no one can give advice.

If you run just a single node, install from ISO and use local storage - as long as you do not miss anything here its a good way.
