Hi,

i have a lot of problems with the vnc-console of my new proxmox2.2 cluster. Sometime it works and sometimes i get the message "network error: could not connect to server xxx:5900". Sometimes is not the right word, most of the time it don't work.

Is there a fix? i tried already to delete temp-files of java.

Kind regards
MasterTH

works here. what desktop OS do you run? java plugin? browser?

First time the browser is loading java applet it takes longer than nc timeout is set. You need to press 'reload' in top right corner to reopen port.

I work exactly on such a box, no issues here. post your 'pveversion -v'

i think i found the problem, there were two consoles installed in ff. I disabled one and now it works.
But now there's something different. I'll open a new thread

what do you mean with "two consoles" installed?

you installed openjdk and sun java browser together?

no there was one version 6.0.35 and the other one was 6.0.37
but i'm not really sure if this was the point. The VServer has 100% cpu-usage, after restarting the VServer and deinstallation of the second jre-console it worked. But i didn' tried again after each step

I use latest java 7 u 9
