VMWARE to KVM, disk issues

Hey!!

With my proxmox setup im unable to import the disk from vmware, because all of my storages only enable the raw disk format only. I cant add the vmware disk, only if I put it on NFS/external storage.

you can convert the vmdk-image with qemu-img - see "man qemu-img".

pve 5.0 has a command qm importdisk, which will import a vmdk image to any pve supported storage
you need to create a VM first, and import the disk the disk to that VM

see
qm help importdisk
