Hello,
I've been attempting to troubleshoot why im having issues on a certain server i have. I've decided to migrate from XCP-NG to Proxmox.
I've done ova backups from XCP -> extracted vhd and ovf files. I was unable to importovf so I opted to convert vhd to qcow2 successfully.

Here is the Server I'm having issues with
HP DL380 G6 raid 5 using LVM

I've pre-created the VM's and deleted the old disk.

whenever I
qm importdisk <VMID> disk.qcow2 <LVM-LOCATION>
all the VM's pretty much halt. I lose access to whever VM is on the host. for example, my plex server just stops and cant even access the webui.

This is very often due to a slow storage. You may try to limit the bandwidth of the storage, but I am not certain if that includes the importdisk operation.

You can also create a separate directory storage and place the qcow2 image there, since the move disk operation would adhere to the bandwidth limit of the storage.

whats crazy to me is the drives are 10k drives in raid 5 compared to the 2nd server i have 2 drives in just zfs.
and of course i discovered i cant migrate between zfs and LVM.
