I have my new proxmox install running and wanted to get feedback if I am networking my VMs correctly.
My server has 4 NICs and I have eno1 going into my local network for proxmox ve and eno2 setup for my VMs going directly to my pool of static IPs.
So... eno1 ~> switch ~> USG ~> ISP & eno2 ~> ISP. I am selecting vmbr1 when creating my VMs and configuring the network within the VM.
Just wanting to know if this is logical or am I wasting my open NICs? I can access my VMs outside of my network with this setup so far.
P.S: While typing this I noticed my VM (Fedora Server) drops its internet connection after a few minutes. I am going to keep reading the forums and guides but if anyone would like to link or drop a line to why this may be happening, that would be really nice!
The Fedora Server is a clean install with the network device below.
