If you are burning you time figuring why (even the latest) PVE will not boot an Acronis True Image 2013 Plus Pack iso, try to change the os type for the vm in question to Windows XP/2003 (wxp) during import of the images. Booting Acronis under os type Windows 7/2008r2 (win7) reproducible gave me a complete white screen right after the Acronis splash and - trying to reload the console a complete black screen... not nice!
