Hello together,
I am new to Proxmox VE. At the moment I am testing Proxmox VE on a dedicated root server (with one physical nic „eth0“ & static, public ip).
For security reasons, i would like to run OPNsense on this Proxmox node ... the WAN-interface of OPNsense bridged to eth0 and a second (internal) virtual interface bridged to a separate local bridge, lets call it vmbr1.
My goal is to manage the Proxmox VE node only by VPN-Connection to the OPNsense VM, accessing the managment webGUI (and all other Proxmox VE services) through that internal bridge vmbr1.
Is it possible to bind all management services of Proxmox VE to a separate, virtual interface „veth1“ ... so that no Proxmox service is listening to the „public“ interface eth0 anymore?
Best regards,
mscd
