LS,

I was wondering if it is possible, and if so then where the detailed guide is, for proxmox-ve_6.1-1 to setup a network share after installation and install a VM from there? I like to avoid having ISO's locally.

Kind regards

You can use a network share on another server/NAS by adding it in the Datacenter -> Storage panel.
One thing to be aware of though is that Proxmox VE will create it's own Directory structure in that share to have separate folders for backups, disk images, ISOs etc.

Great thx for the advice. Where can I see the directory structure that is being created? I'd like to prevent loosing data on network share due to naming collisions.
