Use LVM as Backup Storage

Hi all,

I'm playing with a three node Cluster in our Datacenter. We have a multipathed SAN Environment.

I use multipath and LVM2 (cLVM) already as storage for my Images.

Is there a way to use such an LVM Volume Group as Storage for Backups as well?

so, do you think it would be a way to create an Logical Volume für each Server in the cluster as well and m
ount it in the filesystem by command line?

In that way it would be easy to backup and if the proxmox node Fails, it can be mounted on an other node
by command line to get the backups if needed.
