Hello all.

I've seen instrcutions on attaching external USB disks to VMs using qm, but not in LXC.
I can mount the device to the actual host server fine.
Question is how to make that share available to the containers?

Thanks.

Yes it is possible. You can bind something do it with... for example: FSTAB entry
Code:
/v-machines/home /v-machines/subvol-100-disk-1/home none bind,ro 0 0
This binds my home directly to an container. I've found also this, looks likes more graceful.
