I am pretty new to all this linux things and I have no idea why my ethernet is not working correctly. I have an amazons basic type-c to ethernet adpter and am using that to plug into my laptop that supports ethernet but for some reason its not working. When I trasnfer the nvme to my pc and boot with ethernet it works correctly. I am funneling it down to either it being my drivers arent setup correctly or I cant use usb c and need one that supports 2.0 or 2.1 since people with the u-green ethernet adpater report no problems and it being a plug and play. Or my laptop actually cant take usb c ethernet which I hope isnt the case. Also is it possible for me to configure it to be all on wifi so I can cut ethernet out of it? I just want to have it for pihole and homeassistant, if all fails I can always fall back to linux with docker.
