Hi,
i just installed pve 5.0-30 on an intel nuc DN2820FYKH. All works good except the passthrough of USB 3.0.
I need to access a usb-harddrive with an Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard-VM.
The VM can see the port and disk (f.e. usb-device in device-manager and drive letter shows up within explorer), but cannot access it.
pve's syslog shows many entries like this:
Sep 12 18:19:43 pve01 kernel: usb 1-3.1: reset high-speed USB device number 14 using xhci_hcd
The passthrough with USB 2.0 works. I tried different USB-drives without success.
One curious thing:
If i passthrough the same USB 3.0-Port/Drives to an Debian Stretch-VM it works, then there are only a view reset-messages within syslog when the Debian-VM starts up.
Is there an chance to get this working with Windows?
Thanks forward.
Best regards,
Andy
