I have a dell 3070 on which I want to test proxmox host baremetal. With UEFI enabled I hit unknown file system, entering recue grub. With legacy enable a screen or sorts loads: its black with faint white dots that mark out some boxes and that's all all.
With grub, if i list the partitions using 'ls' and cycle through them I can see that two are fat format, despite this previously being a debian machine (ext4). So it seems proxmox isn't seeing my disks. I can otherwise run linux installs on this machine no problem.
Secure Boot in disabled. What are the steps to troubleshoot this?
