I am trying to install proxmox on an old pc. I have tried creating bootable usb. With etcher pc doesn’t recognise usb. Rufus using dd mode pc doesn’t recognise usb, using iso image mode, when I click no to downloading grub I get grub error, when I click yes I get to the boot up but then get could not insert ‘intel_rng’ and could not insert ‘intel_powerclamp’ and get stuck there. Any ideas how I can resolve this? Thanks

Try to use another pc to create the the install stick. Got one computer here that just cant create bootable pen drives (maybe bad usb controller or whatever). You also could try to use another usb stick. Got some that are just bugged and don't work.
If nothing works (maybe your computer is just too old for the proxmox installer) you could install a Debian 10 as a workaround and install proxmox ontop of it.
