Whats the output of cat /etc/resolv.conf?
192.168.1.1 is your routers IP?
Did you verify that 192.168.1.12 is actually unused and outside of the DHCP IP range of your router?
Can you ping the 192.168.1.12 from another machine?
What is dig google.com returning?
What is the PVe host returning when you run ping 192.168.1.1 and ping 8.8.8.8?
Are you maybe using a Realtek r8168 or r8169 NIC chipset?

Then point the DNS server to your router too and not to itself. So 192.168.1.1 instead of 127.0.0.1.

I meant the chip the NIC is based on. As right now there are problems with Realtek r8168 series.

i changed from 127.0.0.1 to 192.168.1.1 in /etc/resolv.conf and i still cant ping 8.8.8.8 " host is unreachable".
i also cant ping server from other pc "request timed out"

my bad, didnt know what u meant

ping 192.168.1.1 not reachable is the problem.
Like Ethernet câble plug into a switch but no Ethernet câble from switch to router.

btw, is Proxmox installer setup for you or you had to write ip manually ?

Server with proxmox is connected to switch that is connected to router. And yes proxmox installer wrote it all up

router with firewall, perhaps need accept new devices ?
other devices can ping 192.168.1.1 right ?
because ping 192.168.1.1 must work before going next.
