Turnkey (http://www.turnkeylinux.org/) offers more than 30 ready made linux servers. I use them to install them on Proxmox under KVM. Now they bring them also as Openvz containers.
On their website you find in the forum a howto to install them as easy as the Openvz containers offered by Proxmox: see: http://www.turnkeylinux.org/blog/openvz-proxmox
It works as a charm! You can have Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, mediawiki etc etc running in a few minutes!!
:D:D:D

interesting, but just to note, you mentioned examples (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, mediawiki ) are already on Proxmox VE, provide by us.

lets see whats we can do for the upcoming 2.0.

It'd be great tho if they offered direct KVM support without having to fiddle with conversion from say, vmdk and then adjusting little bits in their Ubuntu appliances. But a great effort indeed.
