Hi there,
I’m new to Proxmox and I have some questions before I want to do the switch.
Currently I have a 10th gen NUC running Ubuntu 20.04 Server with a 4-disk Thunderbolt Direct Attached Storage (DAS) connected. I’m using MergerFS to combine the 4 disks and SnapRaid for parity
I’m running some Docker containers which r/w media files on the DAS, one of these containers is Plex which transcodes media while we watch.
So the questions I have are;

So the questions I have are;
- Is it possible to expose the Thunderbolt DAS space to multiple VM’s without loosing too much performance?
- Can I continue to use MergerFS and SnapRaid or should I migrate to another disk setup?
- If I create a VM with Plex installed, how much transcoding performance will I loose?
- Or should I install Docker on the Proxmox host?
