Fresh Win7sp1x64 + https://virt-manager.org/download/sources/virt-viewer/virt-viewer-x64-7.0.msi + https://www.spice-space.org/download/windows/usbdk/UsbDk_1.0.19_x64.msi

Get "Timeout for Socket-I/O"

Debug output from remote-viewer:
C:\Program Files\VirtViewer v7.0-256\bin>
(remote-viewer.exe:6216): Gtk-WARNING **: Could not find signal handler 'virt_viewer_window_menu_change_cd_activate'. Did you compile with -rdynamic?

(remote-viewer.exe:6216): virt-viewer-DEBUG: Destroy SPICE channel SpiceMainChannel 0

which is pretty similar to another rather old Win7sp1x64, where the viewer connects just fine to the very same Proxmox VE

No Firewall and both Win7's has 192.168.1.xxx adresses.
(Clock/date are sync'ed)

Any ideas?

Which versions are you running? (pveversion -v)
Recently a bug in our code was fixed that led to similar problems:
https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1869

your libpve-http-server-perl package needs to be at least at version 2.0-10

Ran PVE 5.0.23 with libpve version above the version you mention. (pveversion -v)

Commented out the only line within the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pve-enterprise.list
and changed the /etc/apt/sources.list in accordance to the Wiki: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Package_Repositories

Ran
apt update
apt dist-upgrade
reboot
Runs PVE 5.2-8, and the remote-viewer works just fine.
Thanks.
