Hi,

Using spice console for an ubuntu VM in principle it works fine. However, after a while of inactivity the client is "frozen", that means it remains as it is, neither accepts inputs nor activates the display. After closing it and connecting again everything works fine again.

Did somebody else encounter the phenomenon too? Any idea how to figure out what it is caused by?

Many thanks in advance for help.

Peter

Hi,

tested spice on my local test setup with a fresh ubuntu vm (18.04), no freeze or anything else in the guest.
I don't know whats a "while" for you, but for now it runs for about 2 hours straight.

So I assume it's related to anything in your setup and rather not a general issue.
You could try xterm and check if it freezes too.
