Hi,

i´ve a qestion about the service pack 2.1. Since i installed it i noticed that the spamreport are delivered realy late, before the update i got the reports at midnight, now i´m getting it at 05:00.
And even the backups from the configs are taking realy long.
Do you have a solution for this problem? What do i have to do to change it the way it was?

Thanks...

Hi,

We never got such a behavior, so there must be something wrong. Do you changed anything on the console (manually) on the old system?

First, check the current system time and if all services are running, take a look on the update.log and the syslog.

For fastest support, I suggest you open the SSH port for our IP 213.129.239.114 and send the login credentials to support@proxmox.com.

What are the contents of the following file:

> cat /etc/cron.d/proxmox

should be:

1 0 * * * root /usr/bin/proxreport -y -a >/dev/null 2>&1
5 0 * * * root /usr/bin/proxspamreport -y -p>/dev/null 2>&1

Yesterday i typed the command date in the console and the time was ok.
Today i wanted to check if the problem still exists and i saw that the time was 20 minutes behind the normal time.
Then i checked the console and typed the command date and the correct time showed up and the time in the webinterface was ok then.
i use the timeserver "pool.ntp.org"

cat /etc/cron.d/proxmox

# Atomatically generated file - do not edit

1 0 * * * root /usr/bin/proxreport -y -a >/dev/null 2>&1
5 0 * * * root /usr/bin/proxspamreport -y -p>/dev/null 2>&1
0 0 * * * root /usr/bin/proxbackup -s -n>/dev/null 2>&1

hi,

do you run on vmware? if yes, what version of vmware, settings, other vm on the host?

If you have timesync. problems with vmware, you can try enabling the timesync. via vmware-tools with the host. To do this, follow this forum post:

http://www.proxmox.com/forum/showthread.php?t=257

Yes i run it on VMWare (Version 1.0.3) and there are other VMs on the Server.
Ok i´ll try it.
Thanks...
