Hi,

I'm trying to figure out a way to keep the mail gateway from sending spam
reports to non-existing users on our internal mail server but still have it sent to valid users.

I'm using the VMWare version of the gateway with the Hotfix with a 30 day trial license.

Thanks,

Alex.

Only move mail to existing users into quarantine. You can do this by making an 'who' object containing all existing users. Easiest way is to use LDAP.

But, on the other side, those spam reports to non-existing users does not harm, because they use '<>' as envelope sender, so you server does not generate NDRs.

Thanks!, this did the trick. The bounces from postmaster were coming in by the thousands now it's the usual 20-30 that are usually typing errors.
